You have a choice from among classic sizes, 16:9 and 4:3, or your own custom width and height so that your video is adapted better to the context.

Video optimization

You can choose different codecs (H.264, vp6, iPhone), change the number of images per second (fps) or force throughput.

Audio optimization

You have the choice between AAC and MP3 audio codecs, for which you can define the sampling and throughput.

Compatibility for all support

Among the current compatible methods of listening are all the Internet browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari etc...
You can also provide content that is compatible with the iPod, iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones.

Sharing videos

Opportunities for sharing on social networks like Facebook ore micro-blogging services are also available to you. Your videos can be exported to Youtube and also shared by email.

Playlists

You have the option of offering your visitors a collection of videos that you store on your VOD space. There are several methods for playing them available. Warning: Adobe Flash Player is necessary to the functioning of playlists.

WebTV, live playlist.
You generate a playlist from your videos that are located on your VOD space, and playback is then as live, like our live video streaming product from then on. Although the stream will be viewed synchronously by all the spectators, this stream is not a live product.

Classic playlist
It is possible to use a playlist where the files will be read one after the other without synchronising different spectators.
You have the choice between random play and repeating the list.

Pay per view (PPV)

You can restrict acess to videos in a directory using a unique key for each visitor. This allows access to videos to be controlled and means that only certain people are authorised and others are declined. Useful in cases such as pay-per-view or restricted broadcasting. However please remember that it is up to you to develop the integration of your current system.

Superimposing of logo

You have the option of adding an image which will appear on your video. You can do this either using rules specific to an import folder or using the configuration for a video player (flash player). You can position or resize your logo as you wish.

Video clipping

This practical tool allows you to adjust the start and end of your videos without having to edit them upstream with video editing software

Statistics and audience monitoring

Our admin console allows you to obtain statistics of viewing for your videos, globally (average per day, bandwidth, etc.) or more accurate statistics for one particular video (real time for playing in %, origin of audience, etc.).

Restriction by geolocalisation

Video broadcast may be restricted to certain IP addresses or to certain countries, in which case a message, that can be customized, is displayed in the case of blocking.

Customizable video player

Customize the entire video player so that it is adapted to fit your web design perfectly and change the status messages that are visible in preloading or during an interruption, overlay a logo (watermarking), etc.

Advertising tool

Our VOD service is compatible with the Adswizz solution, an ad server that specialises in inserting advertising into video streams.

Wordpress extension

We have developed a VOD module for Wordpress, the renowned system for content management (CMS). It allows you to retrieve and manage all your videos right from your blog.
It is compatible with your playlists and your video players.

It takes updates into account that you carry out on your VOD space as well as updates of the plugin itself. It should be noted that it is not necessary to have this extension for publishing videos in your Wordpress articles, but the usual procedures will be made easier with iit.

Batch servers

One main server then several servers in a cluster which process the videos that need to be resized and/or encoded in different video formats.
The processed videos are then saved on a storage space and are then available for use immediately.

Storage servers

Several storage servers are allocated solely to storage and broadcasting of video on the client side. The storage servers are backed up constantly. In the event of very great demand, the videos in question are duplicated automatically on very high-performance machines in a cluster in order to respond to the demand.

24/24 network monitoring

If there is the slightest break on streaming, an email is sent to the customer automatically. Infomaniak is alerted by pager and an engineer is available 24/24h to restore proper function of the service.
